The world's most amazing robotic potato!
He's graced comic books, TV and movies. Now immortalized as a potato.

She's on a mission to Kill Dill. The evil pickle that ruined her life.
She'll also take on the Carrot 88.

Luigi hates mushrooms. The mortal enemy of all potatoes.
He's looking a little Village People to me. This is also the first Mr Potatohead I've done with pants. It just didn't look Mario Bros enough without the suspenders.
I would have done Mario but I ran out of red clay. I will have to restock over the weekend.
I had a mini Mr Potato Head lying about (thanks to the bucket I bought so I thought I'd make the little guy from Monster's Inc
This is one of my favs. I'm not even a Captain America fan I just like the design of the character. His shield is great little prop too.
Should I have made the letter P on his forehead? Instead of the A?

I just realised The Tick doesnt have any pupils! Doh! The antennas were the hardest to make. They would only stay up for a few minutes.

Dough!
Any character where I dont need to change the shoes is an easy character. Sadly this character didn't turn out as well as I thought.

I originally had him with no ears and just the ear marks but I thought it was funnier with the ears pocking out. I had to make the light blue clay colour myself by mixing the white and blue together.
The hard part was the white clay is a different brand of clay and very sticky. Mixed with the blue and it's all sticky.
The cape was red material from a craft store.

Performing at a salad near you.
I used the same technique in this photo as I did in this montage.
It saved making 3 of the buggers. This one took about 1 hour.

Spuderman was an ordinary potato who was bitten by a radioactive spider. His spud sense is tingling!
Officially the hardest potato to make. This was around 7hrs mostly on the black web lines.
I made this in Sept 22 2005 and Hasbro released their Spiderman toy in May 2006. I doubt I had any influence on this. It was an obvious choice.

Another red character! This guy turned out really well. The filed horns, right arm and facial hair all turned out pretty good. I'm even proud of the eye brows.

I already had a heap of red on Mr Potato Head so I thought I'd make it easy for myself and do another red character. I'm really happy with the gloves.

My fav character from Futurama (well maybe Bender is)
This was pretty easy to do. Took about 1.5 hrs and most of that was trying to get the face suckers the right size.
I realize now that Zoidberg wears sandals but for this the blue shoes still fit into character.

What better way to promote the new John Rambo film than with a collectors Mr. Potatohead. Sure it's a R rated decapitation fest but people still want to buy stuff.

Do or do not... there is no fry.

The grumpy potato from the swamp.

To serve the public trust, protect the innocent, uphold the law. Robospud is the future of Potato Law Enforcement.
I loved Robocop as a kid. It's due for a remake soon isn't it?
The silver clay was really hard to work with. It was a different brand "Fimo" and didn't meld together than well.

New from Hasbro. It's Mr.P
With realistic voice chip with such sayings as
"I peel the fool"
"No one touch my spuds fool!"

I actually made this as Crispy M&M (orange) but I think Yellow Peanut M&M fits the shape better.
I should use the Mr Potatohead teeth in all designs if possible as this isn't looking as potato as I would like.
